Sept 19, 2023, New York: President Joe Biden met with his Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Tajik, Turkmen, and Uzbek counterparts for the inaugural C5+1 presidential summit on the margins of the United Nations General Assembly's annual session. The White House says leaders discussed "security, trade and investment, regional connectivity, the need to respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all nations, and ongoing reforms to improve governance and the rule of law."
